2024-2025 Our Kids First Initiative
Our Kids First was funded by the Indiana State Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning through the Employer-Sponsored Childcare Grant.
This initiative aimed to enhance community resilience by expanding social cohesion, fostering agency-to-agency social infrastructure, and implementing community-driven solutions.
Goals & Objectives
- Expand Childcare Accessibility: Address barriers related to availability, affordability, and location.
- Support Workforce Development: Strengthen the early childhood education workforce through professional training and career pathways.
- Enhance Community Resilience: Reduce economic instability by improving childcare options for working families.
- Advance Policy & Systemic Change: Advocate for childcare-friendly policies at local and state levels.
