What is Social Public Health

It's local public health. Communities are well served when institutions bring policy into meaningful action through health-positive social norms. The SPH model is our guide to fostering community agency.

Learn About Social Public Health

What do we do? We train leaders.

Public health practicum & internship fellows learn to map social riskscapes, investigate inequity-driven gaps, and create health-positive content. Fellows develop the skill of interdisciplinary communication to advance institutional change.

Advancing Interdisciplinary Communication is how we Contribute to Public Health.

How we Do it

Interdisciplinary Thought Leadership Training

Our Institute is dedicated to advancing public health discourse.

Using an environmental embodiment model, grounded in stress response system activation, our fellows broaden their imagination for systems change. Through mentorship and training, fellows co-design their practicum, capstone, and internship experiences.
