What is Social Public Health
It’s local public health. Communities thrive when institutions turn policy into meaningful action. Social Public Health connects policy, discourse, and institutional ecology—treating institutions as living systems that transform norms into action and build resilience from the ground up.
What do we do? We train leaders.
Public health practicum & internship fellows learn to map social riskscapes, investigate inequity-driven gaps, and create health-positive content. Fellows develop the skill of interdisciplinary communication to advance institutional change.

Our Institute is dedicated to advancing public health discourse.
Using an environmental embodiment model, grounded in stress response system activation, our fellows broaden their imagination for systems change. Through mentorship and training, fellows co-design their practicum, capstone, and internship experiences.
